More Russian customs

Newlyweds place a lock on the wrought iron fencing of bridges, lock it and throw the key in the water. This is supposed to signify permanently locking their love. We saw dozens or even hundreds of locks on the various bridges we passed.

Russian regulations require that all businesses accept only Russian currency for payments. They can accept credit cards, but if the payment is in cash, it must be in rubles.
